Printable Scoresheet Generator
Choose singles or doubles, best of three or a single game, and the points per game, then print a blank badminton scoresheet with a running-score row for each side. Add names and the court if you want them pre-filled. It runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
Badminton scoresheet
Cross off a number in a side's row each time that side wins a rally. Everything stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How the scoresheet works
Each game has two rows of numbers, one per side. Every time a side wins a rally, cross off its next number; the last number crossed off in each row is that side's score. The rows run up to the deuce cap, so a 21-point game has 30 numbers: the game ends at 21 with a two-point lead, or at 30 if the score reaches 29-all.
The mid-game interval number is outlined in each row, and the deciding game also prompts for the ends switch. Both appear at half the target, rounded up: 11 in a 21-point game, 8 in a 15-point game and 6 in an 11-point game. Short games are a club and school convention, not a BWF format.
When to use it
League and club matches that need a paper record, school and PE sessions, umpire training, and any tournament where a dispute is likelier than a scoring app. See the umpiring guide for what to record and how to call the score.
FAQ
How do I fill in a badminton scoresheet?
Write the players, court and first server at the top. After every rally, cross off the next number in the row of the side that won it, and note who is serving. At the interval and the end of each game, record the final score.
Why does the row go up to 30?
A 21-point game is won at 21 with a two-point lead. If the score reaches 29-all, the next point wins at 30, so 30 is the highest number either side can score.
Can I print a scoresheet for singles?
Yes. Choose Singles and the sheet needs one name per side. Singles and doubles use the same scoring; only the server tracking differs.
Does it work for shorter games?
You can choose 11 or 15 points. The cap and half-way marks follow the same rules the Smash scoring engine uses for those lengths, but they are club conventions: check your own league rules.
Is anything I type stored or sent anywhere?
No. The sheet is built in your browser and goes straight to your printer.
